Welcome to the blog for the MPC 2017 missions trip to Romania!

Our Destination:  Arad, Romania

When: July 14-22, 2017

Who:  A misfit bunch of Christ followers, male and female, adult and teen, sane and...quirky.  We hale from Virginia and Maryland, and we are affiliated with McLean Presbyterian Church (MPC), near Washington DC.

What: We will be working with Romanian Christian Enterprises (RCE), a mercy ministry dedicated to caring for disabled orphans.  While we are there we will be helping to build houses, hanging out with the kids from the orphanage, and probably losing a game or two of soccer.

Why:  Jesus cares deeply about the vulnerable, and because we love him, we want to do what he does, and value what he values.  Pastor David is going with us on this trip, and he preached a good sermon on the topic back in May: here it is!
